We’re taking a pause from our usual programming and want to help you navigate this gift giving season! You may be wondering what to get for your loved ones or perhaps you want to get yourself a little something. Here is a curated list of 10 things that I have personally used and really appreciated over this past year:
Hearos Xtreme Protection Ear Plugs: These are amazing because they do an amazing job of keeping noise out, especially when I’m trying to get some high quality sleep.
Mindfold Eye Mask: These eye shades do a tremendous job of blocking light out and have a protected space so it doesn’t rest on the eyelids. This combined with the above ear plugs, really do the trick to helping me stay asleep!
Pso-Rite: Great for reaching the hard to access psoas muscles that run deep along the posterior chain. Just be sure to watch a few YouTube videos so you know how to position it properly.
Levoit Air Purifier: This HEPA filter air cleaner has dramatically improved the quality of air that I breathe. Highly recommended, especially as we are in the cold/flu season.
Catan Board Game: This game is so fun it has become an annual tradition for our family to play this game during the holidays. It’s a lot of fun. Each session is different because the board actually changes every single game. There’s a nice dynamic based upon cooperation of trading yet trying to build out your settlements and cities.
Bose NC 700 Headphones: They are a little pricey, but probably the best noise canceling headphones ever available to-date. We use this model plus others at our clinic for our patients!
Rechargeable LED Headlamps: Surprisingly strong powered light that’s great for walking our dogs late at night and I never have to replace the batteries.
Crocs Classic: Yes, these shoes are not the prettiest but they are so comfortable. Perfect to replace the house slippers as they are easy on and easy off.
Fitbit Versa 4: I’ve been using the Fitbit Versa for years and really appreciate it for its long battery life. It can go at least 4 days between charges which means I can continuously keep track of my sleep patterns, heart rate variability, and exercise.
Brondell Bidet Toilet Seat: Remember when we were scrambling for toilet paper a couple of years ago? Well that led me to get several bidets and test multiple ones. Out of all of them, this one is the BEST because it requires no electric power and doesn’t leak. Just be sure to confirm whether your toilet is the round or elongated seat.
Even though we love to give and get gifts, remember that the best gift you can give is your presence! Happy Holidays from all of us here at Reset Ketamine! We hope this time is filled with joy and reflection!
